Curated literary conversations through the discerning eye of the "Lit Girl." Inspired by the taste and wit of our favorite writers, a Lit Girl has her finger selectively on the pulse of the modern aesthete.

Beyond the syllabi you’ll find on Substack, Lit Girl is the host of in-person events that bring the literary salon to our modern age. (Gertrude Stein called–she wants her gig back.) Between readings, book launches, and film screenings, our gatherings are designed to celebrate the literati and her muses.

Lit Girl made its way into our lexicon as assistants in 2018, thrilled to find ourselves among the curators of our zeitgeist. We continue to bestow the term upon our tastemaker friends, who are just as likely to lob a Nella Larsen reference as an Addison Rae lyric.
